The Business Times column profiles business families featured in SMU Business Families Institute’s commemorative book – The 4Gs of Business Families – and how they approach issues of governance and stewardship. They support BFI’s mission, which believes an important aspect of a business family's legacy is to be a champion of change and making a positive impact to their communities as they build their businesses. SMU established BFI in 2012 in response to the growing needs of business families in Asia.
