On 21 October, the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, in partnership with Go Negosyo and SMU, held the first ASEAN Family Business Conference at Makati City with the theme “ASEAN Family Businesses of the Future”. More than 800 business leaders from local and international enterprises attended the Conference. Professor Annie Koh, SMU Vice President of Business Development, V3 Group Professor of Family Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of SMU’s Business Families Institute gave the opening remarks and was the moderator for the three panel discussions. SMU University Professor and Executive Director of SMU-X Arnoud De Meyer was the plenary speaker.
